The Mystery of the Princes, by Audrey Williamson

Debate about the disappearance of Edward V and his younger brother Richard - the Princes in the Tower - has raged for over five hundred years. It has long been accepted that Richard III savagely murdered the two boys, his own young nephews. But even contemporary sources make clear that this was rumour only, and conflicts with much in Richard's character as a ruler. Accounts to the contrary have however been limited in their range.

Winner of the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award for the best non-fiction crime book, this book gathers together an immense amount of historical material, drawing on sources from contemporary to modern times, and incorporating unique research. Among this is the discovery of a highly significant tradition preserved in the Tyrell family, which encouraged the author to investigate papers and Tyrell wills not examined before. She has also looked at specialized aspects of the case including the diplomatic and intelligence services involved.

The result is a work which allows a new interpretation to emerge and absorbingly investigates characters, political alliances, and psychological motivations. Here is the key to understanding one of the most baffling murders in our history: a study in power politics which suggests a conspiracy to conceal the truth.

The mystery of the princes

This book is excellent - one of the best out there on the subject. If you are interested in The War of the Roses, Richard III and the mystery of the princes, I highly recommend this book. It is not a novel, but rather a recounting and assessing the facts of the years 1483-1485 as we know them. Ms. Williamson's style is very readable, and she cites some sources that were new to me. I have read the book several times since I got it.

I have read lots on this topic - Kendall, Ross, Gairdner, etc. - so I know the topic. This is one of the most tedious books I have ever read and it took me forever to get through it..I can not believe it won the Crime Writer's Association Gold Dagger award for nonfiction - was there no one who wrote an interesting book that year?

This is a real mystery - one that will probably never be solved - it changed the course of English history - so it is exciting, important, interesting, and even - in the right writer's hands - thrilling. This was not the writer.

The Great Plague, by Stephen Porter

The Great Plague of 1665/6 is the best known epidemic in English history. This is partly because of its sheer scale, and partly because of the vivid evidence provided by Samuel Pepys. This study examines the origin, nature and impact of the plague and looks at contemporary opinions regarding its cause together with the measures taken by national and local government to restrict its spread and to deal with its victims.

From Publishers Weekly
The author of a history of the Great Fire of London here offers a scholarly, meticulous yet accessible analysis of the last epidemic of bubonic plague to afflict England. The scourge of 1665 killed more than 70,000 in London alone. So horrific were the symptoms, which included psychological and neurological meltdown as well as the telltale glandular swellings and dark skin blotches, that, as Porter relates, it was considered fortunate to die of another disease. Some deliberately contracted syphilis in the hope that it would confer immunity against the plague, and many more misplaced their faith in the new wonder-drug, tobacco. Porter surveys the emerging national policies designed to curb the disease, but isolating the sick, quarantining shipping and prohibiting fairs proved tragically inadequate. The epidemic left the nation exhausted and demoralized, unable to tackle the Dutch ships that strutted around the mouth of the River Thames and strangled the capital of supplies. Using the abundant statistical data provided by parish registers, as well as the sexier narratives of Daniel Defoe, Samuel Pepys and their ilk, the author demonstrates the frightening unpredictability of the plague and the cruel inequality of its impact on rich and poor. His numerical analyses may prove excessive for some lay readers, and the book tends to presuppose a familiarity with English place names (a map or two would have helped), but the 60 black-and-white illustrations, from the mass graves of the Plague Year to the later festivities on the frozen Thames, should help attract a broad readership. From Kirkus Reviews
A well-documented and well-illustrated account of the bubonic-plague epidemic that struck England in 166566, killing some 20 percent of Londons inhabitants. Before examining the Great Plague, disaster specialist Porter (The Great Fire of London, not reviewed, etc.) describes the impact of earlier epidemics that had repeatedly swept across Europe in the previous three centuries, affecting not just social and economic life but beliefs, literature, and art. In London, weekly Bills of Mortality reporting the number and cause of deaths had been issued since the early 1600s to provide warning of an impending outbreak and encourage measures to check its progress: quarantining incoming ships, isolating the sick, lighting fires in the streets, fumigating houses, and killing stray cats and dogs. Many of those with the means to do so fled to the countryside; the poor, however, stayed in the city, and it was they who suffered the most. Porter shows how individuals and families endured illness, enforced isolation, and loss of employment; how London and some provincial towns suffered a ruinous loss of trade; and how the government was severely hampered in its war efforts against the Dutch by the ensuing economic recession and reduced revenues. He also depicts how rapidly London recovered, with the population returning to its former size within two years after the epidemic. While Porter's text does not emphasize individual human-interest stories, some of the 70 illustrations he has includedgrim pest-houses where the sick were confined, and dead bodies lying on the street, being loaded onto a cart, or dumped into a mass gravegive a vivid sense of the personal tragedy and horror of the Great Plague. Porter's close, clear look at one epidemic's impact on its culture will be of obvious interest to a world still threatened by the capability of biological weapons to spread smallpox or anthrax to millions. Very Well Illustrated, but Not the Definitive Work
By mwreview
I first became aware of this book through the bibliography section of Norman Cantor's In the Wake of the Plague. He noted that the book was valuable mainly for its illustrations. After reading The Great Plague, I am inclined to agree. The subject of the book is the plague that infected London and the surrounding provinces from 1665-67. There are many illustrations throughout the book, some more or less related to the topic, but all interesting and most I have not seen before. Many are examples of contemporary art showing the different provinces or scenes of the epidemic itself. The book is well written for dry facts and numbers, but is not engaging as is, for example, the old Philip Ziegler book on the Black Death. The text is full of statistics, especially in its chapters on London and the Provinces. One, of course, cannot write about the epidemics without statistics on deaths, etc., but too much reliance on listing them for every province can be very tedious for the reader (a chart certainly would suffice and make it easier for the reader to compare affected areas).
In the chapter on the provinces, each province is covered separately which also makes it arduous. I kept losing track of what was where and, with the lack of a map in this book, had problems visualizing where each area was as I have no knowledge of English geography. After chapters of the percentage of deaths, quarantining policies, etc., the final chapter The Plague in Perspective included some issues that I believe might have been covered more; the London fire of 1666 and its alleged role in ending the plague, the effect of the brown rat replacing the black rat, and the distinction of the rat flea and the human flea, to name a few. One part I found particularly interesting was Porter's explanation of the Bills of Mortality and how the causes of deaths were sometimes fudged so that trade and tourism would not be scared off if word of the first signs of epidemic got out. The author also includes the title page of London's 1665 Bills of Mortality from his collection on page 153. For those interested in this subject, The Great Plague is worth owning for the scores of pictures. The text, however is probably a good starting point but is not the definitive work on the Great Plague.

Wonderful illustrations...lots of numbers
By D. Blankenship
While I most certainly could not be classified as a `plague groupie,' I never the less must admit to having an extremely morbid curiosity about it; a curiosity that has spanned several decades. I suppose it is such a horrendously grotesque subject that it niggles at that dark side we all have hidden in our minds; some having more than others I suppose.

Now this is not a bad book about the last great plague which made is infamous appearance in and around London from 1665 to 1667. It is filled with a mind bending array of statistics - and then more statistics. This is good to a certain point but it does take away from the overall humanistic considerations of which I feel were more important than a mere body count. Now that being said, I fully understand that this medical occurrence cannot be fully understood without these endless numbers and they most certainly occupy a place of importance in the study of this historical event...I'm just saying.......

This massive amount of statistical data coupled with paragraphs which were page length in many cases, made the book a bit of a slog and a reader must read it with a certain amount of determination.

Like other reviewers here I was more than impressed with the plentiful high quality illustrations provided by the author; approximately 70 of them to be exact. A person could spend hours just in the study of these photographs and reproductions. I do feel that this is the strongest aspect of this work. Now that is not to say that the text was not well written and informative, no, no, no! Quite the opposite really. It is just the fact that the information, or the way the information is presented is as dry as the creek behind my house during the month of August, and that is pretty dry.

One of my complaints, and this is not really the author's fault but rather that of my own ignorance, is the fact that my geographical knowledge of England is probably not as full as it should be. I had no clue as to where most of these events took place without constantly referring to a google map which was a real pain. I would have appreciated had the author thrown in a few more illustrations in for form of maps; current maps cross referenced to the maps of the time would have been most welcome.

I will admit that in and amongst the endless numbers there were many fine tidbits of information to be gleaned and I did learn much. This was a library book but I will probably actually turn around and buy a copy to add to my `plague library' here in my home.

Overall I would give this work three and a half stars simply because there is better stuff; more informative stuff and most certainly more readable stuff out there.

LONDON'S LAST OUTBREAK
By Severin Olson
I have always found the London plague of 1665 to be especially interesting. This is partly because it was England's last outbreak and one of the last in Western Europe. A scourge that had terrified Europe for over three hundred years, about as long as from 1665 to the present, dissapeared suddenly from the British Isles, never to be seen again to this day. Why? What could have stopped the killer microbe from returning? The truth is we really don't know, and it is possible the plague could return at some point in the future.

I largely agree with the last reviewer about this work. The illustrations are good and a lot of material is covered, but the work is not, as he said, the definitive one on the subject. I would say that Bell's book on the same matter is much better. Porter spends too much time here reporting on matters from place to place, and loses focus in the process. When he departs from this, and tells individual stories, the book is quite interesting, but the departures are rare indeed. Still, those with particular interest in this topic won't regret the purchase of a copy.

Alexander the Great (Pocket Biographies), by E. E. Rice

Of all those who have set out to conquer the world, Alexander the Great came closest to finishing the job. The son of King Philip II of Macedonia, from an early age he was taught that he was a descendant of Achilles and Hercules and was conditioned for conquest and kingly glory. Alexander was educated by the philosopher Aristotle and first led troops when he was just eighteen.

In 336 BC, King Philip was killed and Alexander ascended to the throne of Macedonia. Over the next twelve years Alexander conquered almost the entire known world of his era, irrevocably changing the course of history. In doing so he defeated the Thebans, the Persian Satraps, overthrew Darius, overran Syria and Phoenicia, possessed himself of all the cities along the Mediterranean, conquered Egypt and founded Alexandria.

He died suddenly at age 33, in Babylon, after a bout of heavy drinking; some suggest he was poisoned, though no cause of death has ever been proved.

Serviceable, but lost it in the end...
By David Fowler
The book is a reasonably short and very quick reading introduction to Alexander the Great, however during the opportunity for reflection on Alexander's legacy, the author spirals into the absurd. I know many scholars find it "fashionable" to harp on his short-comings and "monstrous" behavior...so be it I suppose, he was hardly a straight arrow (especially by modern standards). However, the author so debases the legacy of Alexander (a mere example for war-mongering tyrants everywhere) that any credibility the book had flies largely out the window. Say what you will about Alexander, but to simplify his legacy in this way constitutes a gross misunderstanding of both the man and the world in which he operated.

Large set but limited words.
By Sarah I.
-This set includes:
40 various picture/word nouns (people, places, objects, animals, foods...etc)
12 adjective words (happy, thin, hairy, scary, little, sad, big, furry, spotty).
4 verb words (climbed, jumped, saw, ate)
2 prepositions (over, on).
Determiners (A, The, a, the).
Ending punctuation (periods).

The pieces are a thick cardboard type material and arrive perforated in sheets that you need to punch out, but this is easy and enough to do. You get a lot of pieces total. Aside from the nouns and adjectives the verbs, prepositions, determiners, and ending punctuation (periods) are redundant.
-Verbs; 4 each of the words climbed, jumped, saw, ate.
-Prepositions; 4 each of the words over, on.
-Determiners; 4 each of the words A, The, a, the.
-Punctuation; 16 periods.
There are enough pieces for more than one person to use at a time, and everybody would have enough of the redundant words and punctuation to create sentences.

I am a bit let down with the lack of verb words. I have another set similar to this that doesn’t have any verbs except for the word “see”. I got this set since it was described as having verbs. My other set also has a fair amount of sight words, but this set only has the words as I described above. This set is going to become redundant and boring pretty quick. I know this is called Silly Sentences, but using this set for structured sentences will be very limited.

Otherwise the set is good quality and you get a lot of pieces in total. You could indeed make a lot of Silly Sentences and there are enough pieces for more than one person to make sentences at a time.

This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.

One of my FAVORITE classroom games/centers
By Adrienne
I teach special education and LOVE this game for the lower elementary students. It's great for oral language development, sentence structure, increasing vocabulary, and also supports those students who aren't quite reading yet.

A fun and silly game, easy to use as a center or a reward game.

There are enough pieces for a good 4-5 students to work on this at a time, as long as they each make one sentence and put back those pieces when they are done, and then exchange for new ones.

good enough; puzzled by one card image
By L. Myers
It seems to have limited vocabulary, two many "the", "A" and "period" cards - could use more actual words, verbs, etc.

Now to the most puzzling part of this puzzle game - did they really put word "hero" under the picture of a sub (as subway sandwich)? Does anyone else has this card? All other cards have the images that are exactly what the word says, so there is no explanation for why "hero" looks like a sandwich....

Rome's Greatest Defeat: Massacre in the Teutoburg Forest, by Adrian Murdoch

Over four days at the beginning of September AD 9, half of Rome's Western army was ambushed in a German forest and annihilated. Three legions, three cavalry units and six auxiliary regiments - some 25,000 men - were wiped out. It dealt a body blow to the empire's imperial pretensions and was Rome's greatest defeat. No other battle stopped the Roman empire dead in its tracks. From the moment of the Teutoburg Forest disaster, the Rhine, rather than the Elbe as the Romans had hoped, became the limit of the civilized world. Rome's expansion in northern Europe was checked and Rome anxiously patrolled the Rhineland borders, awaiting further uprisings from Germania. Although one of the most significant and dramatic battles in European history, this is also one which has been largely overlooked. Drawing on primary sources and a vast wealth of new archaeological evidence, Adrian Murdoch brings to life the battle itself, the historical background and the effects of the Roman defeat as well as exploring the personalities of those who took part.

Partly about the battle, mostly about the bigger picture.
By Graeme Moore
My interest in this battle was peaked by a History Channel presentation. So when this work came out, I naturally decided it was worth a buy as a one hour documentary can barely wet the appetite compared to quality book.

However it wasn't quite what I expected. I expected a book devoted purely to the Teutorburg massacre and thought 200 pages was possibly insufficient to achieve even this. The battle that gives the book its name however is covered within a mere two dozen pages so beware if its purely "the battle" you want to read about, you might be a little disappointed. I can only surmise the author didn't want to go into conjecture since that's basically whats left given the Germans hardly documented their history and achievements then (though they made up for it later post 15C AD as Mr Murdoch will show), and the Romans who were present didn't survive to tell thus depriving us of more relevant primary source material for the author to feed off.

But that's not to say there isn't a lot of interest still left if you are "a bigger picture sort". Arminius (Herman the German) and Varus get a chapter each as the main protagonists. The complex personality of Arminius is examined. A highly capable Germanic warrior who served with distinction in Romes legions is one facet. But interesting is the fact he is almost portrayed as an outsider both in Roman eyes and those of his Cherusci tribespeople. Not Roman enough to be accepted whole heartedly as one of them, and not German enough to be welcomed home either is how Murdoch interprets his situation. Yet German enough to resent the way Roman expansion is transforming/affecting the peoples of his tribe so as to be invited into the fold for the purpose of leading the revolt.

Murdoch doesn't portray Varus as inept. Balancing the idea he was overconfident but no more so than the Senate and Augustus, for they would not have appointed anyone to a high command in such a sensitive region if he didn't have some ability, reputation and military standing to merit his appointment.

Also examined is the political situation of the times leading up to the battle from the point of view of both peoples. The idea Rome intended to expand beyond the Rhine towards the East and add to it another province is key to this. The issue of how integrated/accepting of this the peoples of the region were is another.

Beyond that the book looks at the aftermath of battle and the implications for both peoples. The historian Tacitus (2nd book of his annals) gets the last say as far as Arminius is concerned. His writing shows Arminius to be a figure of revulsion and admiration in Roman eyes in an eloquent piece of obituary.

At this point you may feel compelled to close the book as the lead up, battle, massacre and aftermath are done and the author now diverts on the legacy of the battle in more modern times as well as the role/exploitation of Arminius such as the 19th C nationalists (erecting the giant statue of Arminius in the Teutorburg forest) and the Third Reich. There is also a diatribe about leaders down the ages not learning from the folly of the past, in this case Romes expansionist policies. So we get a left wing lesson on more modern parallels from the British Empire (and its probing into Afghanistan in 1840's) and Napoleon to modern Iraq . I suppose the author wanted to make a statement on how the more things change, the more things stay the same. But most of us would know this already.

All in all not a bad read, and one that is certainly quite thought provoking. 3.5 but round up to 4.

A classic book similar to "TTL Cookbook"
By S. Sarmady
My brother had copies of CMOS cookbook and TTL cookbook in 1980s and I read most of them when I was 12-14 years old (he is a year older). After that each of us designed our own digital clock. My brother used 7 segments while I used LEDs for an analog representation of clock. Finding the ICs from the market was a bit difficult in Iran (where I lived) at the time but we eventually built many circuits and even produced and sold some.

Years later I started my undergraduate studies in electronics engineering and almost all the time I was the top student in digital, logic and microprocessor courses.

Being a computer science researcher now, I think this book and a few others achieved their purpose by creating extreme interest to electronics, digital circuits and computers in me and thousands of others.

Thank you Mr. Lancaster.

I'm not really under 13...
By A Customer
...This was just an easier way of expressing my opinion.

This book has been absolutely crucial to my GCSE and A Level studies, as its simplified datasheets and useful information aboout how to use the ICs are exactly what you need for designing small circuits on the component level.

Although, yes, you can get all this and more for free on the internet, the book is smaller than a computer, and is right by you with all the information in one place.

It certainly has its place in my library.

The Subtitle Says It All
By James Bond
This is the story of photographic reconnaisance and photographic intelligence/interpretation in the Second World War, as told from the British persepective and largely of the British experience. The book was originally published in 1957 but republished in 2004. It suffers mildly from mistypes and double words, which is a product of careless editing of the first publishing or bad replication for the second. Despite the noticeable errors the book is worth reading. There are many tales of interest, which I don't intend to ruin here. Photographic reconnaisance was certainly one of the keys to the Allied victory in WWII that has been largely overlooked. For an enjoyable, refreshing read on a somewhat overwritten topic--WWII--pick up this book. If you are into "secret" history or intelligence, definitely pick this book up.

I found this book to be one of the more fascinating stories of the Second World War, which needed to be told
By Kiwiwriter
This is a World War II book that comes from an unusual source and is about an unusual, often-forgotten, but fascinating subject.

Aerial reconnaissance and photography naturally began with Civil War balloons and Great War aircraft, and achieved a high dimension in World War II, when the RAF took the lead in the field. Their recce flights spotted German radar sets, ground defenses, and ultimately, V-1 and V-2 missiles on their launch test pads. These photographs helped the British make critical decisions about the war, leading to dramatic events like the Bruneval parachute raid in 1942 and the RAF attacks on Peenemunde in 1943.

Constance Babington-Smith was one of the top photo-interpreters of the RAF, and personally diagnosed the rocket testing sites. Consequently, her memoir is also a testimony to the critical and often unsung role of women in World War II, in non-traditional roles (as opposed to nursing and charitable works).

Her books is fascinating, and contains much information and many insights about the operations of the RAF photographic apparatus through six years of war. It is slightly dated in lacking information about the connection with Bletchley Park and ULTRA, but otherwise, the narrative and analysis continues to stand up.

I found this book to be one of the more fascinating stories of the Second World War, which needed to be told.

A well constructed Book
By Alan Thederahn
I am not going to go int to a Discourse on the Battle of the Somme. but from what I see its well constructed but leans heavily pro British. From what I am able to tell it gives a good background. I just wish they covered the Germans deeper then the author does.
I am sure we will see many new titles on the First World War.

John Brown: Queen Victoria's Highland Servant, by Raymond Lamont-Brown

A century after Queen Victoria's death, debate still rages surrounding her relationship with her gillie, John Brown. Were they ever married? What was the extraordinary hold he had over her? This biography aims to shed new light on these questions and to discover the truth behind Brown's hold on his royal employer. Following the death of Prince Albert in 1861, the Queen found solace in the companionship of John Brown, who had commenced his royal employment as a stable hand. He became "The Queen's Highland Servant" in 1865 and rose to be the most influential member of the Scottish Royal Household. While the Queen could be brusque and petulant with her servants, family and ministers, she submitted to Brown's fussy organization of her domestic life, his bullying and familiarity without a murmur. Despite warnings of his unpopularity with her subjects by one Prime Minister, the Queen was adamant that Brown would not be sacked. The Queen's confidence was rewarded when Brown saved her from an assassination attempt, after which he was vaunted as a public hero. The author reveals the names of republicans and disaffected courtiers who related gossip about Queen Victoria and John Brown and their purported marriage and child, and identifies those who plotted to have Brown dismissed. Based on research in public, private and royal archives, as well as diaries and memoirs of those who knew Brown and interviews with his surviving relatives, this text analyzes the relationship between Queen Victoria and Brown.

Queen Victoria's Mystery Man
By Luchi1012
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it is not difficult to get through it. Very, very interesting. I have been on a Queen Victoria kick since I saw "Mrs. Brown" and I wanted to know more about John Brown. Was happy to find this biography. Very well documented, very well explained, I enjoyed it and read it right through...it fulfilled all my curiosity about this good man that stood by Queen Victoria when she felt so alone. It is not a "heavy" book, very factual and interesting.

A Devoted Servant
By Rob Hardy
The release of the well-regarded film _Mrs. Brown_, about Queen Victoria and her gillie John Brown, indicated there was still interest in the story of the Queen and her devoted servant. The full story of their relationship will never be known, but in _John Brown: Queen Victoria's Highland Servant_ (Sutton Publishing), Raymond Lamont-Brown sifts through what can be known to give as good a picture as we are likely to get of the servant beloved by the Queen and detested by so many others. It is a small but successful study of the Queen as honest and loyal, with a love of the outdoors, and with a sense of humor (when will the opposite legend go away?) which Brown must have frequently tickled. They were a good match. He impressed both Albert and the Queen with his knowledge of game and hunting, and a strong friendship grew between the gillie and his Queen. He liked jokes and gossip, and the Queen liked to hear his stories. There are many illustrations here of their familiarity. When the royal family went out on jaunts, John Brown usually brewed the Queen's pot of tea. Early in his service, she remarked that this was "the best cup of tea I ever tasted." "Well, it should be, Ma'am," came Brown's reply. "I put a grand nip o' whisky in it."
There is little doubt that the Queen idealized Brown in a way no one else did, but especially after Albert's death, no one tended her as he did. A courtier wrote, "Others had tended her as their Queen and mistress. John Brown protected her as she was, a poor, broken-hearted bairn who wanted looking after and taking out of herself." Many around the Queen disapproved. Brown took his duties so seriously he would deny even her family access to her. His gruffness with others made few friends. Sent to convey the Queen's invitation to dinner to the Lords-in-Waiting, Brown pushed open the door of the billiard room, eyed the aristocrats, and bawled, "All what's here dines with the Queen." The Prince of Wales particularly disliked him, always referring to "that brute" rather than using his name. He obliterated all the busts and mementoes of Brown after the Queen's death, but he was never able to wipe out the rumors that Brown and the Queen were lovers, or that they had a morganatic marriage, or that Brown was her guide in spiritualism. Such evidence as there is shows that they were nothing but devoted friends as well and mistress and servant. This readable book well illustrates the relationship, with ample quotations from the Queen's diary and from remarks of those who knew both parties well.

Not as interesting a topic as you'd think.
By mirope
This book is about Queen Victoria's unusual relationship with her highland servant, John Brown. Most are familiar with the story because of the well-received movie, "Mrs. Brown". While the story made a very interesting movie, for most recreational readers the topic doesn't merit a full book. Raymond Lamont-Brown has certainly done excellent research, and I do not doubt that his account of Mr. Brown and his relationship with the queen is as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, oneof Queen Victoria's daughters drastically edited the Queen's personal papers when it came to the topic of Mr. Brown, so much of the historical record is irretrievably lost. Nevertheless, it seems clear that it is unlikely that there was a scandalous relationship and that the Queen simply considered Mr. Brown to be a completely devoted servant . She consequently kept him in constant attendance and was tolerant of his brusque manner. No matter how hard Mr. Lamont-Brown tries to find some actual drama, most of the relationship (and therefore most of the book) revoloved around the mundane routine of the royal household - daily ponyrides, picnics in the Scottish countryside, below-stairs jealousies, etc. Any excitement in the book is the result of speculation, not historical fact. If you have a serious interest in Queen Victoria, you will find this book worthwhile. Otherwise, see the movie.
