I don't see how any writer can live without owning a copy of this delightful treasure of visual information that gave me endless hours of reading and discovery pleasure over the last few years.
This is a wild collection of the names of a million different items, each presented with full color high-quality illustrations and diagrams - a wealth of linguistic information jammed into 650 large pages. If your child (or your inner-child) keeps asking "What is THAT called?" you gotta get this volume. This is the kind of reference source that once you pick up it's hard to put it down again. It's definitely habit forming.
