aircraft for the layman.

This is an interesting book for the non professional. The writting is breezy and funny but well done. It covers the whole history of manned flight showing the really dumb ideas that actually fflew (usually). there were a few minor errors but the only one I remember was the arup s1 which had a 26 hp moter and a top speed of 607 MPH. HUH.
