Short but informative

Another reviewer noted that this is a shorter work, and it is, though I think that's actually a good thing: too much detail might be too much to absorb! There's some slight repetition here and there but on the whole this is a fun and engaging look at some of the inner workings of Tudor society.
Nonfiction often glosses over some of these details (maybe assuming that they're less interesting to the reader somehow?) but in fact, this knowledge isn't obscure: it serves to paint a clearer picture of the way in which society functioned!

This was a wonderful and informative look at "real life" in Tudor England. I like all of Sims books because she goes into the details other historians often leave out because they are exploring bigger political/social issues.
